With natural diamonds, the earth’s imperfections turn into perfect art in the form of eye-catching stones that come in various colors, ranging from pink and yellow, to black diamonds.

Lab grown diamonds are produced using a repeated cookie-cutter process, resulting in a lack of differences and uniqueness, piece to piece. Natural diamonds receive their colors and unique details from the different events they go through when they are formed deep in the earth. 

In particular, pink diamonds gain such color from intense heat, combined with strong pressure from all directions, when they are formed in the earth.

Investment potential
Although lab-grown diamonds can be produced as much as demand requires, when it comes to natural diamonds there is only a finite supply. Due to the scarcity of these earthly treasures, and other factors, natural diamonds have increased in value around 3% per annum on average for the past 35 years.
